INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL MOVEMENT AND THE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC ON IT (ON THE EXAMPLE OF GEORGIA)

Summary

The international capital movement, as an important feature of the development of the modern world economy, has a global character. This process has been particularly active since the second half of the twentieth century, which has its pros and cons for both donor and recipient countries. Foreign direct investment has the predominant role. In the world market, these investments are the basis for the dominance of transnational companies. The movement of investment flows is different in developed, developing and transitional economies, as can be well seen in the digital material presented in the paper.
